I'm so excited about how
my new book is helping all these people get out of their
stuck spots-with people, situations or events that they
couldn't predict, didn't cause, don't want, and yet have to
deal with!
This book is a direct result of my first
book, Sleeping with a Stranger.
In that book, I told how my life changed suddenly, and how I was finally
able to get past the hurt, anger, frustration and pain, and get on with
living a joyful, satisfying, productive life.
When friends and
colleagues read Sleeping, they told me that what happened to me
wasn't what happened to them. But, what I said about what
happened to me, how I took charge of my life, even though I
couldn't control the people and the events that were
changing my life, was real helpful.
Then I knew, here was my
next book.
So, I wrote
Taking Charge
When You're Not in Control, to show how all of us can stop being
victims, stop staying in recovery, and start taking charge
and getting on with our lives.

Charge came out in
