Taking Charge When You're Not in Control

Look what people are saying about Taking Charge:

"I could not put it down! I cannot think of anyone who would not gain a greater insight into human relations and personal experience by reading this book. A must"

This from an audience member at one of my speeches who bought Taking Charge "for her office staff." When she got home from the conference, she picked up the book "just to give it a glance."

Other reader comments include:

"Awesome and on target! Just the right amount of motivation I needed to take charge of my own direction in life."

"...easy to understand and apply to personal situations."

"Helped me finally explain my actions and attitudes for the past 25 years as an adult."

"Really put the final finishing touches to my own self-realization wellness program."

"Useful ways to 'take charge' of distressing life events."

"Without Dr. Wiklund's insights and suggestions, I don't know how I would have managed through this major life crisis."

I'm so excited about how my new book is helping all these people get out of their stuck spots-with people, situations or events that they couldn't predict, didn't cause, don't want, and yet have to deal with!

This book is a direct result of my first book, Sleeping with a Stranger. In that book, I told how my life changed suddenly, and how I was finally able to get past the hurt, anger, frustration and pain, and get on with living a joyful, satisfying, productive life.

When friends and colleagues read Sleeping, they told me that what happened to me wasn't what happened to them. But, what I said about what happened to me, how I took charge of my life, even though I couldn't control the people and the events that were changing my life, was real helpful.

Then I knew, here was my next book.

So, I wrote Taking Charge When You're Not in Control, to show how all of us can stop being victims, stop staying in recovery, and start taking charge and getting on with our lives.

Taking Charge came out in February 2000, and is in a bookstore near you. Do yourself a favor and get your own copy today.
